This refurbishment involved a complete replan of the ground and first floor.  The existing staircase was located in the living room and interrupted this area that should always be a calm space.  We removed the floor to a small box room at first floor and created a new entrance and double height hallway where a new staircase was then located. From here a new vista opened up to the large kitchen, dining area leading onto the rear garden.  All bathrooms were replanned and fitted out.
