The form of the home responds to the character of the residential street and scale of the bungalow to one side.  The geometry and relationship between the building elements provides a covered entrance with a metal canopy and linings to the windows and dormers.  At ground level the facing bricks have been laid to provide a tapering stepped detail between each course and at first floor level they have been laid vertically on a slight angle to create a textured surface that changes in nature as the sunligh
